Problems of a mainstream music junkie

Don’t you hate it when you hear a song on the radio that you initially dislike, but you know you’ll come around to liking it because you’re certain it’ll be played at 78261382 times on the radio. The first few times you’ll dislike it. The next few you’ll find yourself going ‘ah, this bit’s okay I guess’, before you know it you’re waiting in anticipation for that section for the song and you find yourself singing along with it. Then eventually after perhaps months of holding out, you give in and admit that you know all the words and maybe publicly admit that ‘yeah, that song’s okay’.

Then, just as you start to embrace and love the song, it drops off the charts never to be heard again? Even worse, it’s presence on the radio is replaced by a new song that you despise. But alas, you know it’s only a matter of time before you start to like this one too.

…this first world problem has been brought to you especially from someone who is slowly beginning to anticipate new One Direction songs. SEND HELP.
